Hello!
I opened my window and whispered.
How are you?
Alone in my room, with no one.
Morning!
The morning has arrived, with a heavy downpour.
Tick-tack.
Someone please rewind my spring for me.
Hello!
I think that kind of person appeared only in old anime.
How are you?
I am so jealous, that someone can be loved by all.
Sleeping...
I must stop saying silly things and start preparing.
Crying...
In order to hide my tear marks.
"Oh well whatever" has become my favorite phrase.
That line from yesterday went straight over my head:
"I don't have any expectations of you anymore."
Well, even I myself
don't have any expectations of myself,
but still, what was THAT for?!
The words that escaped from my throat
were nothing but lies.
Today, too, I have wasted some valuable words,
as I continue living my life.
Why is it that you end up hiding it?
Is it that you're scared of being laughed at?
Is it that you don't want to meet anyone?
Is that really true?
Drowning in a sea of the name "ambiguity",
I'm suffering because I can no longer breathe.
I now have a small urge to listen to someone's voice.
I am so weak.
With my preparation going nowhere at all,
I start thinking with my hazy head:
"Should I just find a reason so that I can rest now?"
Nah, I know, I know,
I'm just saying things, that's all,
but I'm not going to rest, so don't get angry at me.
Be I happy or miserable,
the morning sun will rise fairly and cruelly.
I'm already trying my best just to live,
what else do you possibly expect of me?
Why do you end up being bothered by this?
Is it that you actually want to be loved?
Who was it that let go of your hand?
Have you come to a realization?
If my life has a time card,
then exactly when do I get off my "work"?
Who will pay me my salary
for having been living all this time?
Thank you!
I actually want to say "thank you".
Thank you!
I actually want to say "thank you".
Thank you!
Even if just for once,
while I lament from the bottom of my heart,
I actually want to say "thank you".
Why is it that you end up hiding it?
Is that you actually want me to ask you about it?
I promise that I will not laugh,
so why don't you trying tell me?
I won't know anything if you don't open your mouth.
You won't convey anything by merely thinking in your head.
What a troublesome species of organism,
the one called "human", that is.
Hello! How are you?
To you, I say "Hello! How are you?"
The Append voicebanks exist side by side with the original voicebank, giving Miku a total of 7 possible voicebanks to choose from for users with both plug-ins.
Comparative verification of 7 Append voicebanks
Comparing VY1(β version), Miku Append (Soft), Gumi, Lily
The Appends are as follows;
★MIKU Append SWEET : French Pop, Ballad, Electronica
★MIKU Append DARK : Ballad, Jazz, Folk, Ambient
★MIKU Append SOFT : Soft Rock, Ballad, Folk, Ambient
★MIKU Append LIGHT : Pop, Rock, Dance, Techno Pop
★MIKU Append VIVID : Pop, Techno Pop, Trad
★MIKU Append SOLID : Pop, Rock, Dance, Electro
There is some debate as to if Appends are really needed. While they make it easier to find the right tone for a song, it is possible to recreate similar results to the Append tones without actually buying the software with just the basic voicebank. However, pronunciations between the voicebanks do vary per sample because each Append has its own set of vocal samples. For less experienced or skilled users, the Appends are a useful tool to add tone to a song; for experienced users they act as a method of extending the vocals of one voice even further than it can already go.
The Append release also gave older Miku users the chance to update the Vocaloid2 engine to a newer version, as the Append had the latest engine version. Users must also own the original Hatsune Miku voicebank to be able to install and use the Append voicebanks. The Appends themselves were also overall much smoother and of a higher quality than the original voicebank. However, not all of the Append voicebanks share the same pronunciation quality overall as each other with some of the voicebanks being smoother and/or clearer than others.

Miku's voice has been used for songs spanning the oldest of styles up to the newest trends, singing mostly pop music along with a variety of other styles, including being well known for her ability to sing anime songs. She has a very charming voice that can climb easily to very high notes, while still able to sound beautiful at mid-ranges as well. By making use of Crypton's software you can have your very own studio and your own idol to work with - all from the comfort of your home!
Hatsune Miku is a cute and upbeat virtual singer voiced by Saki Fujita.
Saki Fujita (藤田 咲, Fujita Saki), is a Japanese female voice actress and the voice provider for the Vocaloid2 Hatsune Miku. She was born in 1984 in Tokyo, Japan. In 2003 she was awarded in the contest VS Audition 2003 by Pony Canyon which established her career as a voice actress. Since then, she has built her fame in the industry, providing her voice for many animes and computer games. Her soft and clear voice caught the attention of Crypton and they adopted Saki for their second Vocaloid2 product, Miku. Crypton's actions created an instant hit, creating the widely-known Vocaloid trend. Now Miku is widely recognized as the most famous and leading Vocaloid.
Saki once again reprises her role for the Miku append voicebanks. Now, Saki Fujita will take on a new challenge in Vocaloid; providing English-based voice samples as Miku, for the upcoming English voicebank of Hatsune Miku.

A Message from Piapro
In conjunction with the 3rd annual J-POP SUMMIT Festival, Piapro.jp is collaborating with Japantown of San Francisco. With this spring’s earthquake tragedy still fresh in our minds, the J-POP SUMMIT Festival will incorporate multiple benefit events into the programming. Hatsune Miku has decided to join the festival this year to support this effort! In this event, we will be taking submissions of Japantown’s street-banner design in the theme of “Hope for Japan’s Recovery.” At the J-POP SUMMIT Festival 2011, we will sell goods with the chosen design to benefit Japan’s relief efforts. Also, we will be taking submissions for the new character design of “Hatsune Miku U.S. Version.” Please read the specifications carefully, then use your imagination to come up with the new Miku image!

English
The first mystery is why was he alone in his room
Drinking a poisoned bottle of wine
Silently listening to the one-armed detective speak
The detective continued in front of the girl
The reason is simple, at that point in time
He was destined to die
So, who is the culprit?
You know the answer to that question
Because it all happened
In front of your eyes
So, who is the culprit?
Even if you don't say the answer
I will answer it for you
The way this crime will end
The second mystery is, why did they fall into the ocean?
And was the culprit really among them?
The girl grabs the knife hidden inside her pocket
The detective doesn't realize this and continue talking
The one fatal mistake in my plan
was the other detective that was tagged into this
So, who is the culprit?
The detective easily hits it out of the her hand
The girl's last resort
So, who's the culprit?
Come, the name of the person in front of you
Say my name!
I really
Didn't want you to find out
I will be merciful
Hurry, if you want to run then run away quickly...
So, who's the culprit?
There may be more than one answer to that question
But the means to confirm that answer is about to dissapear
So, who's the culprit?
Come, if you don't hurry up
My hands are going to kill you
You don't have much time
So, who's the culprit?
You know the answer to that question
Because everything happened in front of your eyes
So, who's the culprit?
The person standing in front of you
Come, say that person's name
My name!

The Kagamine twins are well known for their very clear and precise vocals, which make them able to sing a variety of genres easily, including rock and electronic pop. Just with a few tweaks here and there they could sing almost any other genres as well - the ability to switch between a more masculine or feminine voice also allows for an even larger range of possible vocals than before.
The virtual singers Rin Kagamine and Len Kagamine are both voiced by Asami Shimoda, giving them a wonderful, youthful voice.
Asami Shimoda is a Japanese female voice actress and the voice provider for the Vocaloid2 Kagamine Rin and Len. She was born in 1986 in Tottori, Japan. She developed her gift as a voice actress in her high school days and received a scholarship for a voice actress school. Her professional career started in 2005, providing her voice for the computer game The Idol M@ster. This product spread her fame in the industry and her adoption by Crypton following Saki Fujita was taken with no wonder.
The Future of Kaito Crypton announced on twitter that they are developing a new production of Kaito named “Kaito Append”. Recording of Naoto Fuuga’s voice started on December 9, 2010. Several voicebanks of different expressions like the Appends have been produced for the product. There are four appends empirically under development; temporarily “Mellow”, “Sweet”, “Solid” and “Power”.
However, they have since reconsidered this due to the fan outcry. On February 17th, 2011, Crypton released a temporary silhouette of Kaito’s Append. They said that it has not been decided whether he will have a transparent muffler or not.
There is a Piapro demo song contest for Len's Power Append. The prize is a package present of information on KAITO Append dates and when it is commercialized.
Crypton also finished recording Kaito's vocals after work was previously suspended for an interval. Crypton were in discussion with Fuuga, Kaito's provider on the image and vocal outputs. A classic Kaito Vocaloid style recording had also completed recording, one which will sound close to the vocal tone of the original voicebank that users were familiar with.
